Nowadays, the infectious E-mails called Phishing that are rapidly spreading globally are being used to aim to catch the accounts of e-mail users.
Our universty academics and colleagues are supposed to not to trust these kind of e-mails, certainly and never contact with the senders of them.

How you can detect the “Phishing e-mails” and be carefull about these?

  • Phishing e-mail senders generally use trustable sender names such as “Webmail Admin/ System Admin/ Administrator”.
  • Phishing e-mails come from the stranger addresses that you have never contacted before.
  • There are several dictation mistakes in e-mail body because of they were created by using the automatic translation programs.
  • IT Directorate never ask from the Yaşar University Staff their e-mail Usernames / Passwords via an e-mail. Because of that our e-mail users were kindly required not to share their passwords with anyone.
